Coup plotters occupied the TRT building

300 putschist soldiers passed over the police team responsible for access to TRT Oran Campus in Ankara and occupied the TRT building. After TRT broadcasts on television and internet were ceased, Lieutenant Colonel Ümit Gençer took of his camouflage smocks and wore his ceremonial uniform to read the declaration prepared by the ‘Peace at Home Council’ on TRT screen.
